Treks just a walk for the Park

PARK Trek Walking Holidays has a host of upcoming autumn offerings to tempt people away from their urban life and into the vibrant green outdoors.

The treks are fully guided, fully accommodated, with only a small backpack for all of your needs.

Upcoming treks include:

Easter in the Alps

  • Good Friday, April 6, to Easter Monday, April 9 - four days (ex Melbourne): $980 - twin share (single supplement of $150 available for the three nights away), full accommodation in the Viking Lodge, Falls Creek.

Victoria's High Country is now at its most verdant and green.

The four days include a stay in a cosy alpine lodge. Head out each day with small day packs for walks on the many well- established paths that take in cattlemen's huts and superb views.

Fresh coffee, bottled wine and organic food complement the hospitality.

The walking is only moderately challenging.

Park Trek eases the burden by taking care of nearly all meals, transport, responsible guiding and hospitality. This trek is suitable for single travellers looking for a great social occasion in a gorgeous location without the hassle of planning.\

Great Ocean Ramble

  • Saturday to Sunday, April 21-29 (ex Melbourne): $2190 - twin-share (single supplement available), fully accommodated.

You don't need to be super-fit to enjoy two of Victoria's best coastal walks - the Great South West Walk and the Great Ocean Walk.

By booking both together, you take advantage of the discounted price. Both trips are four days.

Guides highlight the best sections of each of these iconic walks.

Daily distances are between 6 and 14km with the chance to opt out of certain sections if a rest is required.
