Thrills and spills at Alstonville this weekend

THE rain last Sunday forced the postponement of the Absolute Kaos motorbike stunt show at the Alstonville showground.

But those wanting to watch the high-powered thrills and spills can head to the showground this Saturday, to catch the action.

Promoter Ray Hunter said he had to make the decision to postpone the event midway through a very wet Sunday afternoon.

He said a feature of the family friendly show will be a Nitro Circus rider flipping their factory 250cc dirt bike upside down in mid-air.

The preshow entertainment will include stunts by BMX and scooter riders on a mobile skate park, with a freestyle motocross demonstration.

The gates will open at 4pm on Saturday, with the main show to start at 6.30pm.

Tickets are available online at http://www.outix.com.au or www.absolutekaos.com or at the gate on the day.

The event is a fundraiser for Homes for Heroes and Swags for the Homeless.
