Third Time Lucky

It was a case of third time lucky for the running of the Cross Country at St. Brigid’s Primary School Kyogle. Scheduled to be held at the end of Term 1, the weather hampered all efforts to get the event run before the term break but the day was just right for running on Friday when we could finally get the races under way!
With a new course designed by Sports Co-Ordinator Kristie Irvine, the race was ran around the school grounds to take into account any bad weather and to ensure everyone got to have a go should the weather beat us again!
With the starters gun starting at 9am for the older students, races where held all day till the Kindy Kids took to the course late in the afternoon! By just participating students earned points for their sporting house and it was a close event with Colohan (Gold) winning the John Cahill Shield!
Students who placed in their races will now go onto the Zone Cross Country event next week.
