There's a reason they call it the "silly season"

OCEAN Shores lads Timothy Hend and Callum Cudahy found an interesting way to beat the Christmas blues.

The pair rocked down to the Orana Road roundabout at the intersection of Brunswick Valley Way and Coolamon Scenic Drive late yesterday afternoon with a step ladder and three rolls of packing tape and turned Timothy into a Christmas ornament.

Callum says Tim spent about an hour taped part-way up the light pole at the centre of the roundabout, providing an unusual Christmas greeting to passing motorists.

Eventually a couple of police officers stopped by and suggested the pair find another way to celebrate Christmas.
