Broadwater Cancer Council event raises more than $2500

THE Think Pink event held at Broadwater on October 10 was an overwhelming success, with $2596.45 raised for the Cancer Council.

"The night was amazing and we had about 70 people attend," organiser Sheree Hyslop said.

"I really thought that with fewer people this year we wouldn't even make last year's profit, but we did it and raised $1000 more than last year."

"The games were all a huge hit, the food was sensational and the guests were blown away with the prize pool."

Sheree is already planning next year's event.

"We are getting bigger and better every year," she said.
