Tegan tops the lot at Casino

CASINO junior golfer, Tegan Hancock, has won the Women’s Golf Casino Championship for 2010.

Day one of the event was overcast and rain threatened to dampen proceedings, but the weather on the three championship days that followed were ideal.

Hancock posted scratch scores of 85, 85, 91 and 88 to finish, giving an overall of 349, followed by captain Sue Leeson with a scratch of 355.

Margaret Bretherton won division 2 with 404 (scr) and Edie McDonald won division 3 with 434 (scr).

The nett winners were: division 1 Sue Leeson, division 2 Maree Drysdale, division 3 Edie McDonald.

The Lyness Vagne Putting Championship was won by Debbie Low with an aggregate of 117 putts over the four rounds of the championship.
