Teenage girl knocked off bike by car

A TEENAGE girl was taken to Ballina Hospital this morning after she was knocked off her bicycle by a car.

A NSW Ambulance spokeswoman said paramedics were called to River St near the corner of Bagot St at about 8am after reports a bicycle rider had been hit by a car.

When paramedics arrived they treated a teenage girl at the scene for leg injuries, the spokeswoman said.

The girl was taken by ambulance to Ballina hospital in a stable condition.
