Teenage Ballina girl found

UPDATE October 30, 9am: Police have located a 13-year-old Ballina girl who went missing last week.

After being reported missing by her parents, Brianna Briggs was found by police safe and well this morning.

 

Police are appealing to the public for information after a 13-year-old girl went missing near Ballina High school last week.

Brianna Briggs was last seen leaving the Burnet Street school early last Wednesday.

When the teenager's parents reported her missing, police began an investigation into her whereabouts.

She is described as caucasian in appearance, 170cm to 180cm tall with brown eyes.

At the time of her disappearance she had blonde hair; however she may have dyed it burgundy since she went missing.

Police have been told that Brianna has been in contact with friends, but officers need to sight her and find out her whereabouts.
