Teacher airlifted from Minyon Falls

A LISMORE High School teacher has been injured at Minyon Falls and had to be airlifted to Lismore Base Hospital.

The teacher was walking with two students at about 1.30pm when he slipped on a wet rock and twisted his knee.

Because of the terrain, the Westpac Life Saver Rescue Helicopter winched the man out and flew him to the Helicopter base where he was transferred to the hospital. He’s in a stable condition.
