Take a tour of new $88m Byron Bay hospital

THOSE people wishing to take a closer look at the new $88m Byron Central Hospital will be able to during a community open day on Saturday, April 9.

There will be 30-minute tours of the new hospital which will visit key areas such as the emergency department, inpatient unit and birthing unit.

To ensure smooth scheduling of tours, visitors are asked to register their preferred time online at www.bchopenday.eventbrite.com.au or by phoning 0409 984488.

Some services will be at an expanded level, while top-class enhancements such as CT and ultrasound will now be available closer to where residents live.
