Tabulam to feature in final episode of Back Roads

TABULAM is set to feature in the final episode of the ABC TV Series Back Roads.

Be transfixed by the Clarence River as Heather Ewart goes off-road to canoe, kayak and motor 400km from its headwaters to the Pacific Ocean, to discover why locals call it "the river that provides and divides".

Ms Ewart meets the people who live along its banks and rely on the river for their lifestyles and livelihoods.

Along the way Ms Ewart finds "the forgotten country" of the Clarence that has inspired legends..

Along the way, the host will get a lesson from two of three star kayaking sisters, Jacqui Lawrence, who went from paddling on the Clarence to competing at the Beijing Olympics where she surprised everyone including herself to win a silver medal; as well as Rio Olympic hopeful, Ros Lawrence.

The Back Roads series final will air on Monday January 18, 8pm on ABC.
