Tabulam features from the Back Roads

TABULAM featured on Monday night in the final episode of the ABC TV Series Back Roads.

The show highlighted the Clarence River as Heather Ewart went off-road to canoe, kayak and motor 400km from its headwaters to the Pacific Ocean and discover why locals called it 'the river that provides and divides'.

On the show, Ms Ewart met the people who lived along its banks and relied on the river for their lifestyles and livelihoods.

Along the way Ms Ewart found 'the forgotten country' of the Clarence that has inspired legends..

She had a lesson from two of three star kayaking sisters, Jacqui Lawrence, who went from paddling on the Clarence to competing at the Beijing Olympics where she surprised everyone including herself to win a silver medal; as well as Rio Olympic hopeful, Ros Lawrence.
