Syrian school bombing 'an outrage'

UNICEF, the United Nations children's agency, has called air strikes in Syria's northern Idlib province an "outrage”, labelling them the deadliest attack on a school in the six years of the war. The attack killed 22 children and six of their teachers. The series of air strikes on Hass (pictured) in the rebel-held territory hit a residential area's school on Wednesday as children gathered outside. The toll is expected to rise as rescue efforts continue. Two schools in the area were hit with a total of 11 air strikes that the White House blamed on Russia or Syria.
