Sylvia has a $4000 goal

SYLVIA Kilroy this year will organise her 13th Biggest Morning Tea in Evans Head and she has a goal - to top the $4000 mark.

The highest amount raised at the morning tea, held at the Evans Head Bowling Club, has been $3500, and Sylvia has been told by the Cancer Council that that was the highest amount raised on the Far North Coast for the past two years.

Now she wants to go even further.

"I want to hit the $4000 mark," she said.

Sylvia says the event, to be held on Monday, May 27, from 10am, is a wonderful get-together for the community, with people from Evans Head, Casino, Woodburn and surrounding areas, and even Kyogle, attending.

The entry fee will be $5 and will entitle you to a cuppa, food, and a ticket in the lucky door prize.

Raffles also will be held.

Each year about 100 people attend the morning tea.
