MEET the uncapped Cronulla 20-year-old who is officially the hottest player in SuperCoach NRL.
Recently dubbed "the fastest player to set foot in Cronulla", Sione Katoa's rise through the SuperCoach ranks has been equally quick.
Just the 43rd most popular player a week ago, Katoa has catapulted up the rankings to 27th.
"He's a really good chance to start on the wing for round one," Flanagan said.
"He's had a really good off-season and handled everything we've thrown at him.
"He's got some competition there with Aaron Gray and Edrick Lee but he's done a really good job. The trials will tell but he's got his nose in front."
Cronulla's GPS data from the pre-season shows Katoa is quicker than Test star Valentine Holmes.
He made the Holden Cup team of the year on the wing after topping the tryscoring list, dotting down 23 times for minor premiers Cronulla. He also topped the competition for tackle busts (239) and line breaks (36).

Another great of SuperCoach who starts at a bargain price following a season ruined by injury. Has retired from representative footy and can concentrate entirely on the Cowboys this year.
8 Connor Watson, 40.2% ownership, no change
Starts cheap after averaging 32.30 in 42 minutes as a super sub at the Roosters, but has far more opportunity at the Knights as Mitchell Pearce's halves partner. Averaged 56.3 in games of 75 minutes or more last year.
