Stylish hat tops the field

BELINDA Bentley was one of 60 women who strutted their stuff at the Fashions on the Field at the Casino RSM Beef Week Cup at the Casino Racing Club yesterday.

“I watched all the autumn carnivals in Sydney and Melbourne to get ideas,” Ms Bentley said.

“I think it might have been my hat that stood out. I bought it first and then went from there.

“The dress and shoes and everything after that just came together.”

The Fashions on the Field attracted one of the biggest fields in cup history.

“I've been in it in previous years, but that was some of the best and hardest competition I've been up against,” Ms Bentley said.

“I don't know how they judge the winner. It really came as quite a shock. All the girls obviously went to a lot of effort and they all looked gorgeous.”

Ms Bentley won $500 cash and $400 in vouchers from Arum and Beauty on Barker.

Second-placed Chloe Lyons took home from the same shop $300 in vouchers.
