Student’s petty note to flatmates goes viral

THIS university student has baffled his flatmates with a very odd demand, and it's sent the internet into hysterics.

Lois, 18, shared a screenshot of his flat's Whatsapp group chat on Twitter on Tuesday, and people can't stop laughing at it.

In the chat another student, Finn, has asked: "Guys I don't mean to sound like I'm nagging but I've noticed that the swivel stools are all at different heights sometimes and I just think if you've used a stool you should return it to its full height before leaving the kitchen!

"I don't want to come in from a long day of lectures to see all the stools are different heights, thanks guys".

When another of Lois' flatmates, Ethan, asked: "please, oh please tell me you are joking? ..." Finn simply replied with a question mark.

Lois posted the picture on Twitter, jokingly asking: "How do I request new flatmates".

It's gone viral, racking up more than 78,000 likes and 13,700 retweets.

In response, Coumar Maniassley wrote: "If he doesn't come back to upside down stools tomorrow you're doing uni wrong".

While Fleetwood Shaq suggested: "Definitely replace the swivel stools with a variety of random chairs".

And Melissa Barclay joked: "Omg that's worse than me".

While Sherene Modi said: "Omg actually pissing myself hahahahahahahaha".

The entire thing has sparked a debate on The Student Room - with marklow asking of the request: "is it normal or not".

One user, 999tiger, replied: "It's a bit petty imo (in my opinion), but as said above its just them and they are super fussy.

"I would either ignore, send something sarcastic or go out of my way to non comply."

While seanbruce simply said: "no it isnt normal".

Luckily for anyone who's worried about Finn's priorities in life, he's confirmed that it was indeed a "joke".
