Stolen rings recovered

POLICE have some of the rings stolen from a Lismore jeweller earlier this month.

On May 17 a woman was captured on CCTV stealing $20,000 worth of rings from a Keen St jeweller.

The video footage was forwarded to police who commenced an investigation.

Officers from the Richmond Target Action Group conducted a search warrant at a residence on Jubilee St, Lismore yesterday and found 12 of the 18 rings that were stolen.

A 50-year-old woman will be charged by police over the theft.
