Stolen farming equipment found in South Australia

FARMING equipment stolen from a western Queensland property has been recovered in South Australia with police mounting an investigation to identify the offenders.
South Australian police located the large haul of equipment including a New Holland tractor and Elgra post driver, valued at more than $100,000, on December 23.
About 100 portable cattle panels were also recovered which had been reported stolen on either July 9 or 10 last year from Spring Creek Station at Wyandra.

Charleville Stock and Rural Crime Investigation Squad Detective Sergeant Warren Baker said while the majority of the equipment stolen in July had been recovered, investigations were continuing to identify the offenders.
He said investigators were also trying to recover other property which had not yet been located, and called on the public for assistance.
"We are also still trying to locate a grey-coloured Can Am Outlander quad bike also stolen from Spring Creek Station," he said.
"I urge anyone with any information surrounding the theft of this equipment to report it to their local police or through Crime Stoppers on 1800 333 000."
