Stolen car used in ram raid on Lindendale servo, police say

POLICE are currently investigating a ram raid that occurred this morning at BP Lindendale.

About 3am today a maroon Hyundai was stolen from a residence in Wollongbar, police said.

The vehicle was driven to the BP service station located on the Bruxner Highway, near the Lindendale Rd turnoff.

The front entrance was smashed and cigarettes and cash stolen.

The vehicle was later located in Wardell burnt out.

Police are appealing to anyone with information to contact Crime Stoppers on 1800 333 000.
