Origin: How NSW players rated in 2015 series opener
Josh Dugan 7 Brilliant run and kick for Josh Morris to score out wide for NSW's first try. Safe under high ball and made some strong runs.
Daniel Tupou 5 Disappointing night. Quiet and dropped the ball early in the game to give Qld great field position.
Josh Morris 7 Solid on right fringe once again. Try-saver on Inglis in 63rd minute and scored a spectacular first-half try.
Michael Jennings 5 Quiet night and lazy defence with Roosters teammate Tupou allowed Queensland to equalise in the second half.
Will Hopoate 5 Like much of the Blues outside backs, had a quiet outing.
Mitchell Pearce 6 Some nice long clearing kicks and a beautiful short ball for Beau Scott's try. Failed to take the game by the scruff of the neck when opportunities arose late.
Trent Hodkinson 6 Cool-headed early in the game but, like Pearce, went missing when the game was there to be won.
Aaron Woods 8 Outstanding. Kept running hard all night and defending strongly.
Robbie Farah (capt) 7 Couargeous captain's effort. Landed on his head and injured his shoulder, but toughed it out.
James Tamou 7 ½ Brilliant offload led to Dugan break and Morris try. Started the game well.
Beau Scott 7 Went after Thurston often once again and ran well on the fringes.
Ryan Hoffman 7 Some solid work in a Blues jersey again.
Josh Jackson 5 Some useful runs early but not much impact.
Trent Merrin 5 Showed some potential with some late carries, but still yet to stand out at this level.
Boyd Cordner 5 Player of future. Not afraid of the Origin pressure cooker.
David Klemmer 6 Aggressive off bench and nullified the Thurston show and go. Sledgehammer in defence.
Andrew Fifita 6 Good off the bench, but could not break the game open with his co-forwards on the back foot in the second half.
