SPOTTED: Dance Moms stars share Whitsundays snaps
DANCE Moms stars Maddie and Mackenzie Ziegler are lapping up the Whitsundays sunshine, sharing snaps of their North Queensland adventures to their combined 17.5 million social media followers.
Better known as the young star of all of Sia's music clips, 14-year-old Maddie and her younger sister have begun their Australian tour, performing and leading dance workshops across the country.
The official Hamilton Island Facebook page posted about their latest celebrity visit: "We loved having Maddie Ziegler and her sister Mackenzie Ziegler (Dance Moms and Sia's amazing music videos) visit us on Hamilton Island for some fun before starting their dance tour this week."
The sisters, whose CVs also include titles like actress, musician, dance judge, fashion designer, author and more, shared photos of their beachside antics and close encounters with Hamilton Island's resident koalas.
The youngest judge on So You Think You Can Dance: The Next Generation is certainly having a busy year: Maddie's memoir 'The Maddie Diaries' will be released in March, the first in a series of novels she wrote about competitive dance will be released later this year and has also lent her voice to an animated flick, Ballerina, co-starring with Elle Fanning.
Maddie will also make her big screen debut in The Book of Henry, starring Naomi Watts and directed by Colin Trevorrow.
Not to be outdone by her older sister, Mackenzie continues gaining fans through her singing, acting and fashion endeavours.
She will this year be the brand ambassador for Emily West, the popular girls' fashion line, and continue her dancing and music career.
Hamilton Island is known for its celebrity guests, in the past attracting the likes of Chris Hemsworth, Taylor Swift, Ed Sheeran, Miranda Kerr and Leonardo DiCaprio.
