Sportsmanship, fun for students

STUDENTS from Tabulam Public School took part in their annual swimming carnival at Bonalbo Pool recently, with Barnes and Chauvel houses the standout competitors, where they displayed sportsmanship and encouragement to all participants.

After a day of strong competition, rival house chants and a fun day Chauvel House took out the House Trophy. The captains were Kallum O’Connor and Celine Walker and the vice-captains were Braydan Avery and Natalie Simon.

Individual champions:

Juvenile boy: Timothy McGrady; girl: Maria Hickling; Junior boy: Trent McGrady; girl: Torian Walker; 11 years boy: Braydan Avery; girl: Tia Torrens; Senior boy: Kallum O’Connor and Alfred O’Connor (tied); girl: Melissa Cavanagh.
