Speaking in tongues to cats and dogs

WHEN Sharon Nicholson talks to animals, the conversation is two-way.

The Alstonville-based "animal communicator" claimed she has telepathically communicated with animals for the past 20 years.

"I've been a clairvoyant for humans all my life," she said.

"Animals started talking to me and it went from there.

"I can telepathically connect to the animal to see what it wants and needs to have changed in its life."

Ms Nicholson, who is able to communicate with animals thousands of kilometres away, regularly has conversations with dogs, cats, fish, horses and alpacas.

Many people have brought their pets to Ms Nicholson for readings and praised her abilities.

"I did a dog in Bangalow which had a really bad skin condition for five years," she said.

"Within two weeks of the owner doing all the things I suggested, the animal cleared up without any needles or intervention.

"The owner then told all her friends and I ended up doing 20 of their animals."

Many of the animals Ms Nicholson communicates with have traumatic pasts.

"I do a lot of animals from rescue shelters," she said.

"I can see into their past and then work out what their fears are and what can be changed to help them."

She also works on stud horses, many of which have become fearful after sustaining injuries.

Ms Nicholson, whose mother and grandfather were also clairvoyants, uses different techniques to many other animal communicators, including one located in Byron Bay.

"She doesn't connect telepathically to the animal like I do," she said.

"She does it face-to-face but I can do it from any where in the world."

Ms Nicholson also does "energy work" on animals.

"I assess the animal's energy field and can balance it if need be."
