South Sydney gets Joel Reddy for two seasons

SOUTH Sydney will have the experience of Joel Reddy to call on next season after signing the outside back for the next two seasons.

Reddy is sidelined with a groin injury and missed the West Tigers' defeat by the Roosters on Monday night.

He has played 117 NRL games for the Tigers and Parramatta since making his debut in 2005.

Rabbitohs coach Michael Maguire said Reddy would be a welcome addition to his squad.

"We have a number of young, up-and-coming players in our backline and his (Reddy's) experience will be invaluable for them," Maguire said.

"From our discussions he's showing the competitive drive and professionalism that we look for in our players."
