Sonic boom comes to showgrounds
A new music festival is coming to the Lismore Showgrounds (which is in the Byron hinterland, apparently) on May 29 and 30.
Sonic Festival will bring together a line-up that is big on dance with electronic acts including Grouch, Shadow FX, Sun Control Species, Launchpad and many many more. There will also be bands including Ganga Giri, Wildmarmalade, Morph, Tijuana cartel, A French Butler Called Smith, Mystic Beats and stacks more. For a full run down and to purchase tickets, check out the website www.sonicfestival.com.au
Organisers promise a family friendly event with carnival rides, a jumping castle and roving street performers.
They are also offering one lucky Echo reader a free double pass. To be in the running ring us on Monday morning (May 17) at 10am and answer the following question:
Which band in the line-up claims to be “the only cult in the world that tries to brainwash its members to think for themselves”?
