Soggy Lismore ovals remain closed

LISMORE City Council's sporting fields remain closed as the drying out process from the recent rotten weather continues.

All council owned ovals will be shut until Friday, with many still under water from the recent deluges.

The exception is Balzar Park, which is open at the hirer's discretion.

Another update will be provided tomorrow about midday.

Updates on ground closures are available by calling the council's hotline on 6627 4111.

Meanwhile, ovals across other parts of the region remain either closed or only available with care.

Anyone wanting more information should contact their local councils.
