Slice of Life: Vivienne creates beautiful things at Nimbin

WELCOME to Slice of Life, all about capturing a moment and telling a brief story about the characters in our community.

It can be about anyone and anything, at any time of the day or night. These snapshots are of ordinary people, each with a story to tell.

Northern Star photographer Marc Stapelberg took this picture of Vivienne Winston who has lived in Nimbin for more than a year.

Previously she was in Adelaide with her 25 year old daughter. She moved to Nimbin to be with her brother who can often be found outside the Nimbin Museum.

Vivienne loves to create fridge magnets from stones and other trinkets and then paints individually.

If you'd like to join in the Slice of Life project, take a picture of yourself, a friend or relative and tell us about them. Post it on our Facebook page or email news@northernstar.com.au.
