Skier dies at Perisher

A SKIER has died following chect pains after crashing into a tree at the Perisher Ski Resort in NSW.

The 53-year-old was skiing in the Kosciusko National Park when he hit a tree on Monday afternoon.

Soon after he was moved to the bottom of the ski run, he complained of chest pain and passed out.

Paramedics attempted CPR but the man could not be revived.
