Skateboarder remains on life support

THE teenager involved in a serious skateboarding accident remains in Gold Coast Hospital on life support.

On June 4, the 19-year-old allegedly grabbed the tailgate of a car driven by his friend and was towed behind the car along Park Lane in Lennox Head.

The teen let go of the vehicle and fell onto the road.

He sustained serious head injuries.

He remains in a critical condition.

The Ballina Crash Investigation Unit is investigating the incident.
