Showers welcome after recent hot weather

AFTER the recent hot weather, parts of the Northern Rivers received a few much-needed showers this week.

Annette Santin, of Caniaba, and her partner Mick and son Jaiden were snapped enjoying the change in weather in Lismore on Wednesday morning.

Luckily they had an umbrella on hand so they could shelter from the rain.

But don't expect the wet stuff to last long, or to be very substantial.

Possible showers are forecast for most towns across the Northern Rivers today and tomorrow, but the sun will shine again on Sunday.

Next week the temperatures will hover around the high 20s, with cloudy days and more showers possible.
