AUSTRALIAN Diamonds and NSW Swifts veteran Susan Pratley will run a coaching clinic in Casino on Sunday.

Pratley established the SP Netball Clinics 10 years ago and is bringing the sessions to the Northern Rivers for the first time.

The 30-year-old has won netball world championships with Australia and has enjoyed a decorated career with the Swifts.

Swifts teammate Abbey McCulloch will also be part of the coaching clinic in Casino.

"I grew up in Bega so I'm a country girl and I try to get out to as many places as I can," Pratley said.

"I do a lot of these clinics and it's a lot of travel but I definitely enjoy them."

Pratley has spent the past month travelling around NSW and has clinics scheduled for Casino, Coffs Harbour and Grafton.

About 50 kids have registered for the Casino clinic, with spaces still available.

"We teach girls the basics of netball and encourage them to keep active," Pratley said.

"I always try to get other players involved and it's all about having fun."

Anyone wanting to join should get in contact with the Casino Netball Association.
