SES healp clean-up wild weather

LOCAL State Emergency Service volunteers will head south this week to assist with the clean-up after a week of wild weather.

Ten volunteers from the Richmond/Tweed zone returned on the weekend from the Blue Mountains and Sydney area, which was damaged by wild winds last week.

Another 15 SES volunteers from the area left yesterday afternoon to assist with the recovery effort in the Blue Mountains.

Natural disaster zones were declared in parts of NSW last week after strong winds left many power lines down, trees over roads and damaged houses.
