Seminar to discuss rights of youth

TOMORROW evening's Teen Night at the Lismore City Library is set to be a valuable seminar for youth.

The topic of this Teen Night is Young People and the Law, presented by Hugh van Dugteren from Lismore Legal Aid, and aims to add insight into the new age of laws in relation to young people.

The seminar, directed at youth, will encourage teens to 'know their rights' in relation to things like graffiti, social media and the internet, driving, police powers, and youth justice conferencing, among others.

The talk runs from 5-6.30pm at the Lismore Library on Magellan Street, with pizza and drinks provided.

For bookings and enquiries call 6621 2464.
