Second Northern Rivers armed hold up in 24 hours

IN THE second armed robbery on The Northern Rivers in eight hours, the Coraki Bakery was held up by two men just after 4am this morning.

While the bakery's owner was out doing deliveries two men with their faces disguised entered the bakery and demanded money from an apprentice.

After stealing the cash register they fled in a car that the apprentice had driven to work.

Police are investigating the incident and are appealing to anyone with any information to call Lismore police on 6626 0599 or Crime Stoppers 1800 333 000.
