NO-ONE was disappointed at the Teven-Tintenbar Public School's 20th annual Country Fair on Saturday.

As the hype suggested, there was something for everyone, from classic cars and bikes to sideshow alley; and plenty of food.

The Batman Drop, despite not having the height of its Gold Coast cousin, still had hearts pumping while many had a go at the NRL Titans' pass-the-ball competition.

Sideshow alley and the billycart course proved popular with the younger set while the entertainment was there for those who wanted some time out.

Organiser Wayne Shepherd said "the fundraising event had been successful".

"As the school's major fundraiser, the country fair has provided funds to buy many resources for the school," Mr Shepherd said.

"Last year, the P&C was able to buy outdoor furniture and the school has another wish list this year.

"A big thank you goes to our sponsors for their support in making this as successful as it's been."

Assistant principal Samantha Lasserre was "delighted with the turnout".

"It is similar to previous years and we are thoroughly delighted with the day. It's been very, very successful," Mrs Lasserre said.

"It's our biggest fundraiser and the P&C and everyone has put in so much to make it successful. I'd like to thank our P&C, sponsors and everyone who came and made it a day to remember."
