Scholarship a legacy to remember Lommy

LOUISE "Lommy" Morgan touched the hearts and lives of many in her 34 years, so to honour her memory, her former employer Southern Cross University has established an annual scholarship in her name.

Enjoying a blossoming relationship and many happy times since she moved to the Northern Rivers in 2009, Ms Morgan's life was cut short when she was killed in a head-on crash on the Pacific Hwy near the Possum Creek turn-off on new year's morning, 2013.

Southern Cross University community fundraising officer Karen Howes said the Louise Morgan Memorial Scholarship was born as a tribute to the much-loved employee.

Established through the Staff and Friends of Southern Cross University Giving Program, the scholarship is an annual opportunity for undergraduate SCU students to subsidise their study costs.
