SAFLs round of intrigue

IF ever there was a round that holds much early season intrigue, it’s today’s round 2 in the Summerland AFL.

A vastly improved Ballina travels to play Tweed Coast Tigers, hoping to take last weekend’s form – in which they were unlucky to lose to Coolangatta by a kick – north to Pottsville.

Lismore plays host to the unbeaten Blues at Mortimer Oval, and are unsure what to expect.

The Blues side that dismantled Byron two weeks ago was a different beast to that which had a last-gasp win over the Bombers last weekend.

Games start at 2pm.
