Nominated by one of his school teachers at Evans River K-12 Community School.

Aidan has an autism spectrum disorder and mild cerebral palsy but that hasn't stopped him being a volunteer patrol member for the Evans Head-Casino Surf Life Saving Club.

Walking on the sand is difficult for Aidan as it causes knee and ankle pain but he keeps going, no matter how much it hurts.

He volunteers for Nippers and has done more than 100 hours of volunteering, including selling raffle tickets.

He is working on his surf bronze medal.

He has swimming training six times a week.
