Rogowska gets to pack for Brisbane

TALENTED 22-year-old Victorian Olivia Rogowska has joined fellow Aussie Casey Dellacqua in the Brisbane International after being given the final wildcard into the women's draw.

The world No.174 (pictured) said she would travel to Brisbane intent on causing an early upset in the field.

"Brisbane is my favourite tournament of the year so I'm very excited," she said.

"The field is ridiculously strong but I'm just going to try to forget who's standing on the other side of the net and focus on my game and everything that I've been working on."

The women's draw features six of the world's top 10 including titleholder Serena Williams, world No.2 Victoria Azarenka and Russian star Maria Sharapova.

Former world No.1 Roger Federer, who tweeted on Wednesday that his wife Mirka was expecting the couple's third child, will play in Brisbane for the first time.

The tournament starts on Sunday.
