Roadworks to cause delays

ROADS and Maritime Services is warning motorists on the Summerland Way to expect delays as the transport authority works to improve the safety of the road at Trenayr, just north of Grafton.

The work, which involves widening the road's lanes and shoulders, was expected to take until the end of June, weather permitting.

Until the project is complete, the road will around Trenayr will have a 40km/h speed limit and traffic controllers while workers are onsite.

Work will be done from 6am to 6pm weekdays and 7am to 1pm on Saturdays.
