Roadwork on Bruxner Hwy at Tabulam

Roads and Maritime Services advise motorists survey work will be carried out on the Bruxner Highway from Monday.

The survey work is to inform the detailed design of the new Tabulam Bridge which aims to improve safety for motorists and remove a bottleneck for heavy vehicles.

Surveyors will be on the roadside near the Clarence and Tabulam street junctions on the eastern side of the Clarence River as well as near the pre-school on the western side of the river.

Work will take place between 7am and 5pm and is expected to be complete by Friday November 13, weather permitting.

Traffic control and reduced speed limits may be in place to ensure the safety of workers.

Motorists are thanked for their patience while the essential work is carried out.
