Road reopened after truck brought down powerlines

UPDATE: EVANS Head Rd at Woodburn has been reopened to traffic after a can truck brought down powerlines early this morning.

Police confirmed Essential Energy had fixed the problem and the road was closed for a short time.

 

INITIAL REPORT: EVANS Head Rd at Woodburn is currently closed after a cane truck reportedly brought down powerlines near the intersection of Richmond and Alfred Sts.

Police are at the scene and drivers are advised to avoid the area.
