Rich pickings for coraki artists

THE 11th Coraki Tea Tree Art Prize will take place over a very arts-driven weekend starting on October 30 at the Coraki Conference Centre, Union Street, Coraki.

Entries for the show will close on Monday with categories for art, drawing, Aboriginal art, youth art and photography. After a year's break this well loved and well regarded event is back.

The best-in-show prize is worth $1200 so make sure you put the event in your calendar and visit this wonderful river town which is quickly developing into a thriving artists' community.

Opening night on the Friday starts at 7pm and goes to 9pm. The exhibition times for Saturday are 9am to 5pm and Sunday from 10am to 4pm.

Opening night will cost $14 and includes a light supper and two glasses of wine.

Entry into the exhibition for the rest of the weekend is $2.
