Revisiting Brideshead to raise money

THE provocative tale of forbidden love and loss of innocence is portrayed in the film Brideshead Revisited, which will be shown for the first time in Byron Bay on Thursday.

The film will be introduced by film reviewer Peter Thompson.

Byron Cinemas and the Northern Rivers Community Foundation will be presenting the film of Evelyn Waugh's epic novel to raise funds for the Northern Rivers Community Foundation.

Drinks will be held at 6pm, followed by the film at 6.45pm.

The Northern Rivers Community Foundation is a philanthropic foundation working to improve the community in the Northern Rivers.

Tickets are $25 and are on sale at Byron Cinemas.
