The British actor is on his first trip Down Under to promote the American drama series, which has been watched by more than a million viewers each week on Channel Seven.

"Aussies have the same humour sensibility as the Brits, so I feel like I'm at home," he told APN.

"I'm definitely going to check the zoo out. I'm a big David Attenborough fan.

"And I've got to climb your Harbour Bridge."

Questions on his rumoured real-life romance with Revenge co-star Emily VanCamp were off limits, but Bowman described the Revenge cast as one big family.

"We hang out on the weekends," he said.

"We all got so close very quickly. There are no egos. There's a lot of respect between everyone.

"It's still the same now (at the end of the series). We're still all very close. We're always hanging out together and supporting each other."

Filming on the first series of Revenge finished a few weeks ago and Bowman said fans can expect an action-packed series finale.

"The climax is amazing," he said.

"Scene by scene it's all sorts of crazy, or as Gabriel (Mann, who plays Nolan) said 'it's infinity times infinity'."

Revenge airs Mondays on Seven, with a bonus episode airing tomorrow at 8.30pm.
