THE top toys to fill Christmas stockings around this country this year will include Star Wars: The Force Awakens merchandise following the hype on the movie's release.

Kmart expects to sell 100,000 Episode 7 figurines and 45,000 Lightsabers by Christmas Day.

Other toys racing off the shelf include Lego sets, Nerf blasters, Shopkins accessories and merchandise from Disney success franchise, Frozen.
