Residents get say on Porter Park

WEST Ballina residents are getting another chance to put their views on the controversial Porter Park Aboriginal Child and Family Centre.

The development was approved by Ballina Shire Council last December after an extensive community debate over the placement of the centre.

It is now considering lease arrangements with the NSW Department of Family and Community Services for the segment of park slated for the centre.

Copies of the proposed agreement for lease and lease agreement are available at the council's Cherry Street headquarters or from the council's website.

Submissions close at 3pm, Thursday, May 10.
