Residential rezoning for Bangalow

SIX land areas in Bangalow are proposed to be rezoned for residential purposes.

Byron Shire Council’s executive manager of planning Ray Darney said once released, the land would offer up to 150 new dwellings for the area.

The sites have been identified in the Bangalow Settlement Strategy 2003 and the Byron Shire Local Environmental Study 2008 and are located at Granuaille Crescent/Rankin Drive, Ballina Street, Thomas Street/Charlotte Street and Parrot Tree Place in Bangalow.
