LISMORE residents might know him best as the head of the 86-year-old family-run real estate business R. Gordon & Son.

However, under the hood, Andrew Gordon is an enthusiastic rev-head.

Mr Gordon, one of the competitors in the North Coast National's King of the Ring burn-out competition was also among the first to burn rubber over the custom-built burn-out pad at the Lismore showground, showing off his skills and classic ute for videographer Nick Flanagan, who was shooting photos and recording video for the show.
